House Harmony
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form an agreement between you and Tiago Pereira ("we", "us", or "the developer"), an independent developer based in Portugal, governing your use of the House Harmony mobile application and any related services (together, "the app").
By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Some features require an account. You can create one with an email address and password, or by using Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for:
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your chore history, and your household memberships. This action cannot be undone.
The app is designed for shared use. When you join a household, other members of that household can see the chores you create, the chores assigned to you, your completion history, and your display name. Do not put information into the app that you are not comfortable sharing with the other members of your household.
You are responsible for the content you create in the app. You agree not to use the app to store or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, or that infringes anyone else's rights.
House Harmony offers an auto-renewing subscription, House Harmony Premium, which unlocks unlimited household members, unlimited chores, chore rotation, due-date reminders, full history, rewards, and custom categories.

Prices are shown in US dollars. The price actually charged is the localized price displayed in the app at the moment of purchase, in your local currency and including any applicable taxes. Prices may differ by region and may change over time; any change will be communicated in advance as required by the applicable app store.
New subscribers may be offered a free trial. Where a free trial is offered, its length is stated on the purchase screen before you confirm. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically into a paid subscription at the price shown. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app store account settings:
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us, and refunds are governed by their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. Requests should be made through Apple or Google Play support.
The app can be used without a subscription. The free version limits a household to 2 members and 15 active chores, and does not include rotation, reminders, rewards, or custom categories.

We work to keep the app available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we discontinue a paid feature during a period you have paid for, we will make a reasonable effort to provide an equivalent or a pro-rated remedy through the relevant app store.
The app, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own household organisation. The content you create remains yours.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law. Sections 8 through 10 survive termination.
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the app store you downloaded it from. Where the app is obtained through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer only, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
